Thank you for getting back to me. It’s great you're interested in hosting an after school Design Club at [Name of school].

In terms of requirements, we’d need a classroom to run the club in, plus coloured pens and pencils, paper and access to a printer. The children would need to have access to a smartphone or tablet with (a free app for making prototypes) installed.

Design Club is mostly pen and paper, but the children will really benefit if they can see their paper sketches turned into digital prototypes. It’s fine for the children to share a device - or use one belonging to the teacher or school.

The club is for roughly 10 children, and will run for a term (1 hour week). I’m happy to run the club but I would need another adult (a teacher, teaching assistant or parent) to be there as support.

Design Club has a . [I have an enhanced DBS certificate / I’m in the process of getting an enhanced DBS check/ Please let me know if the school can help me arrange a DBS check].
